All our platforms are SaaS with standardization for automotive retail but designed for customization for specific customer needs. With offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Paris, Brussels & Bangalore, we are the largest producers of content for the automotive industry globally.
We are looking for an Automotive Data Research Manager to lead our team to maintain product information for automotive vehicle data, parts and accessories catalog for various countries. This position will work with product teams to prepare and maintain the automotive database comprising of all OEM makes, models and aftersales parts and accessories.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain a database of all product attributes including, but not limited to, Automotive Make/ Model/ Trim data, Product SKUs, images, classification, and individual product attributes and fitment
- Direct the maintenance of product classifications, hierarchies, and taxonomies across all product lines utilizing internal processes and accepted industry practices
- Implement and improve the knowledge of accepted industry data standards to enrich and optimize product content information and specifications
- Create and implement a digital management strategy of product images and other digital assets utilizing industry best practices
- Serve as internal subject management expert, and liaison to the system provider, for the development and maintenance of the product catalog
- Work with Marketing, Product Management, and Business Development teams to create and implement product content management strategies
- Recommend and implement product content management strategies and process improvements based on day-to-day interaction and market intelligence
- Ensure the successful additions of products and brands respective to the catalog
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College graduate with a minimum 8 years’ experience in data research and cataloging in a manager role
- Expertise in MS Excel, Power Point, Access/SQL
- Expert in Database Architecture
- Strong product knowledge and understanding of Automotive Parts
- Previous experience in eCatalog content processing
- Previous experience in digital image strategy
- Expert level familiarity with Marketing and online sales channels
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong database analysis.
- Ability to think critically and take appropriate actions as needed.
